These are the first pieces in a series of leatherwork that I chose to do combining the colors eggplant and purple. I’m just in love with this color combination this year…the richness it exudes is seductive, it doesn’t hurt to add some flirty pink hair to the ensemble either. In these pictures see the slim pencil skirt with 3 beautifully finished black metal zippers, one on each leg and one at the waist. The jacket combines the grape suede with the purple ostrich print leather, black metal snaps and the same stunning zipper up the front. The lining is a wild touch in fushia pinks, slinky to the touch in a fun plaid pattern, there is also a thin but warm layer between the leather and lining of fleecy like fabric that makes this a jacket to go out in the cold weather with. The handbag purse is the latest shape and styling from my studio in a waxy cowhide eggplant burgundy leather that has a great crushed looking finish, with the same purple print ostrich leather details including tassels, trim and and new heart keychain hook with a digital frame that holds some of your favorite pictures. The size is medium and it fits beautifully in the crook of your elbow, or can be slung over the shoulder for hands free movement. Outside pockets on either side for phone and keys as well as a large inside zippered pocket, with flowered pale lavender with pink flowered lining.
