It needs to be comfortable first and for-most. What makes a leather jacket comfortable. Has to be roomy in the shoulders and chest, don’t forget we’ll be wearing that jacket over our clothes. It has to fit well when closed, buttoned or zipped. It has to drape well when it’s open. The armholes have to to roomy for the same reason, comfort and mobility. The top of the arms can not bind your movement, and the sleeve length has to be ample. When you bend your arms to drive or carry something, the sleeve still needs to reach the wrist.
